Watershed and water catchment area restoration on Futuna will begin with an invasive species control management phase on the sites and environmental monitoring measures. Native plant species will then be replanted to restore ecosystem service quality.

Restore high biodiversity site on Wallis (WF)
Two high-value biodiversity sites have been pre-identified on Wallis for invasive species management and environmental restoration. Invasive species will be removed from the site and management and restoration measures introduced. Such demonstration sites will help showcase the outcomes produced through appropriate management.
