Take part in the international video contest on populations exposed to environmental and climate change of the National Institute of Research for Sustainable Development (IRD)

The annual "Let them see how they feel" video contest invites young people from all around the world to collect intergenerational testimonies of people facing the consequences of climate and environmental change.

Each year hundreds of films are made in languages and dialects of the world. Created by RFI Planète Radio, developed by IRD, and sponsored by the famous French artist "Grand Corps Malade", the ePOP initiative is present in 40 countries on five continents, through an active community of 100,000 subscribers. The 2022 edition is supported by the European Union and will be followed on France 24.

The competition is open to all committed filmmakers and talented amateurs. The expected format is a video of 3-minute maximum,16:9 horizontal format, without text on screen, without music and based on a testimony. Participants have from the 1st of March to the 1st of May 2022 at midnight to prepare and produce a video and upload it on the platform.

The list of finalists will be announced in the last days of May and the final ranking will be revealed during the award ceremony on July 7, 2022. Save the date!
