From 6 to 10 September, the Pacific is represented at the organic world in France.
Every three years, the Organic World Congress (OWC) brings together over 2,500 organic stakeholders, farmers, producers, scientists, professionals, policy experts and activists from around the world.
It is the largest global organic gathering to address issues of resilience, societal transformation, ecosystem regeneration, health and food sovereignty.
Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, the OWC is being held virtually and face-to-face in Rennes, France, from 6 to 10 September 2021. Its tone is pragmatic, friendly, positive and collaborative.
Representation of the Pacific
The Pacific will be present through interventions and videos from the Overseas Countries and Territories (Chamber of Agriculture of New Caledonia, French Polynesia Agriculture Department, Fisheries and Agriculture Services in Wallis and Futuna, Bio Pasifika, Bio Caledonia, Bio Fetia, farmers from the PROTEGE demonstration farms, etc.), the Pacific Community (SPC) through the Land Resources Division and Poetcom as well as the PROTEGE - SPC project.
The PROTEGE project reiterates its sincere thanks to all the actors of the territories who contributed in the organisation of this event and notably the production of videos.
