Sustainable fishing day in Wallis, it's today !
Meeting point from 6 am in front of the cathedral of Mata-Utu. The CCIMA and the DSA organize a special "sustainable fishing" market to launch this beautiful day under the sign of fishing.
The Fisheries and Agriculture Services, the PROTEGE program, the European union and its partners are pleased to invite the population of Wallis to a day rich in knowledge sharing, around the issue of sustainable fishing and preservation of coastal marine resources.
This event is part of the World Day of Fishermen, Artisans, and sea workers. The department of Fisheries of the DSA, with the help of PROTEGE will organize lots of activities:
The actives are free but must be booked in advance, depending on the number of places available per boat.

Special best dish contest highlighting sea food, fish, shellfish, or others... everything is possible
Registration for the competition will be done at the CCIMA by phone at 72 17 17 or directly on site, the dishes must be handed in before 9 am on the day of the market.
