New: the Oceania Echoes portal for the community management of Pacific fisheries

The Oceania Echoes portal was created to assist government authorities, communities, and other specialists in Community Fisheries Management (CFM) in easily accessing and exchanging information and knowledge related to community fisheries management (CFM). This facilitates making informed decisions regarding the management of coastal resources.

It was established by the Pacific Community with the support of the European Union, the Swedish government, the New Zealand aid program, the Australian government, and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

You will find all the outputs of the PROTEGE project developed across the Pacific Overseas Countries and Territories related to community fisheries management.

Explore, for example, the new educational.toolkit on coastal fishing developed by the fisheries department of Wallis and Futuna.
