Job offer - VSC Fisheries Information and Scientific Support Officer (CIHAS) - DSA Wallis and Futuna

The territory of Wallis and Futuna Islands is seeking a Fisheries Information and Scientific Support Officer (CIHAS) for a voluntary civil service contract.
The position is based in Aka'aka - BP 19 Mata'Utu - 98600 WALLIS.

𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
Collect, process, and analyze fishery and socio-economic data.
Develop reports, information bulletins, and outreach materials.
Participate in the implementation of fishery development projects.
Provide scientific support to service activities.
Contribute to public awareness of sustainable fishing practices.

𝗣𝗿ofile requirements:

Master's degree in fisheries sciences, marine environment, economics, or sociology.
Knowledge of statistics, databases, and GIS (Geographic Information Systems).
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Initiative and ability to work in a team.
Driving license.
