Final sustainable fishing Friday in Wallis & Futuna

Those involved in fishing in Wallis and Futuna gather at the fale fono in the village of Vaitupu on the occasion of the last "Sustainable Fishing Friday".

On this occasion, the restitution of the diagnosis on the state of marine resources perception, fishing practices and compliance with regulations allows for an intervention strategy, built in a participatory manner, for sustainable management of coastal resources to be considered.

At the same time, a specific workshop with local stakeholders also made it possible to draw up an awareness-raising and communication plan aiming for a better management of coastal resources on the territory.
