Are you inspired by sustainable fishing? Take part in the competition set up in Wallis and Futuna

The 2nd edition of the competition "Let's keep sustainable fishing sustainable" is launched. It is aimed at schoolchildren, college students, high school students and associations under the law of 1901 of Wallis and Futuna.

The DSA's fisheries department and its partners are launching a competition for ideas and projects under 4 themes in favour of sustainable fishing:

- Theme 1: improvement of fishing practices and preservation of coastal fishing resources

- Theme 2: promotion of sustainable fishing

- Theme 3: adding value to fisheries products and co-products

- Theme 4: aquaculture

3 winners will be elected by both the public and a jury of voters during the Sustainable Fishing Day at the end of the year on Wallis and Futuna.

3 prizes are at stake with a total value of 900 000 F CPF.

The competition takes place between 22/08/2022 and 26/11/2022.
