Regional cooperation & syntropic agriculture
Since Mid-May, a delegation of farmers and technicians from New-Caledonia come to meet their peers in French Polynesia.
Trainings on the ground, practical exchanges, varied learnings…, works are numerous during this regional cooperation exchange between New-Caledonia and French Polynesia in the field of agriculture. It was as well a chance for Caledonian and Polynesian members from PROTEG’s agroecology demonstration farms’ network to meet and exchange face to face.
On May 24th, in Moorea, a specific training on syntropic agriculture has been given. The implementation of syntropic agricultural plots in French Polynesia is coordinated by the Agriculture Services in collaboration with the IUCN French committee. (International Union for Conservation of Nature).
