International Coconut Day in Wallis and Futuna 2020
Event organised by the Direction of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Services (DSA)
For the first time in Wallis, families celebrated World Coconut Day with dignity on Saturday, September 5.
A large exhibition showed the wide variety of products made from this tree, the tree of life of the Pacific.
This operation was organised by the DSA of Wallis and Futuna in partnership with the Miss Committee, the Culture Service and the Language Academy as well as associations (Maisons Fleuries and the Environmental Federation) within the framework of the PROTEGE programme funded by the European Union.
