French Polynesia: information dissemination and regional cooperation on the Agriculture and forestry project component
One of the fundamental challenges of PROTEGE project is developing regional cooperation between the European Overseas Countries and Territories of the Pacific.
In order to contribute, about forty Polynesian actors have gathered face-to-face or virtually on the theme of agriculture and forestry. The representatives of the Agriculture Services, private, public and associative partners attended the meeting in order to learn more about the actions carried out by PROTEGE in New Caledonia and Wallis and Futuna.
Supported by the European Union, information sharing is indeed essential to maintain regional exchanges and cooperation within the project.
