Conference tonight, at 7:05 pm, at the University of New Caledonia as part of the Night of Science

Why does climate change weaken our food systems and what solutions does agroecology offer?

In the first part, Mickael Sansoni, an agroecology farmer and member of the PROTEGE network demonstration farms, will talk about the resilience of his system to the climatic hazards that have strongly impacted New Caledonian agriculture over the past two years.

In the second part, Clément Gandet, PROTEGE CPS regional coordinator for agriculture and forestry, will talk about how the various scientific studies explain this resilience and the contribution of this resilience and the contribution of science in identifying the levers to strengthen the sustainability of our food systems which are under pressure from the impacts of climate change.
