Fautaua River Water Quality Monitoring Network

News story from the Environment Services of French Polynesia (DIREN)

The DIREN is currently carrying out a site assessment for the implementation of a water quality monitoring system for the Fautaua River.

It is planned to install three fixed stations equipped with multi-parameter probes for real-time monitoring of water quality.

One of the stations will be positioned at the bottom of the valley, thus constituting the ecological reference point of the monitoring network that will cover the Fautaua River.
