Educational workshops and sustainable food

Four school classes from Raiatea, French Polynesia participated to the "From garden to plate" contest. The objective: to make young people aware of a healthy, balanced, and sustainable diet through an educational contest.

Keeping with the agro-ecological transition policy through PROTEGE project, the municipality of Taputapuātea has organized a contest around the school educational vegetable garden.  The community proposed to the pupils of all its schools, to participate in the contest "From  garden to plate" by creating fund boards advertising this slogan.

In total, four elementary school classes worked for a month and a half to create an artistic work on the theme of agriculture and food. Congratulations to the class of Opoa for winnging first prize!
